Why this Educational Programme is Perfect for Businesses

Anaphylaxis is best managed as a team, and with this in mind, I chose to develop not just a training course, but an educational programme with multiple courses, each tailoring the content for a specific role in the anaphylaxis management team. Anaphylaxis is occurring more frequently and so it is becoming more important to have a well trained and prepared clinical team.

Medical Director

What makes my programme perfect for businesses?

Clear Guidance: Being guideline based, my programme promotes best practice patient care and compliance with the National Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care's Acute Anaphylaxis Management Clinical Care Standard.

Role Specific Courses: My programme consists of different courses targeting the different roles in anaphylaxis management, giving each participant the content most appropriate to them and resulting in a comprehensively trained team.

Flexible, Self-Paced, 100% Online Learning: Participants can learn at their own pace, at any time, anywhere, causing less disruption from staff being taken out of the workforce and needing to organise replacements.

Scalable Learning: There is no restriction to the number of staff that can be registered at any time, taking away capacity limitations.

Participant Progress Analytics: Track your staff's progress through their course with periodic analytics.

Management Form Resource: My management form resource is a valuable tool that not only assists with management prompts during an anaphylaxis emergency, but forms a detailed medical record that is filled out at the time and allows for internal and external reviews and debriefing.

Training suitable for any healthcare setting

Our training programme has been designed to be applicable to all healthcare environments because anaphylaxis is a medical emergency that can occur in any setting. What do healthcare professionals say about our training?

"Really excellent training. Clear and comprehensive discussion of patho-physiologic pathways leading to anaphylaxis ensures thorough understanding of what signs and symptoms, although possibly deceptively mild, require urgent response. This is reinforced by an excellent tick-box chart that takes the stress out of management decisions, in turn speeding up treatment and improving patient outcomes. The course and the accompanying charts (to be kept with resus trolley) completely take the stress from management decisions and indicate a clear action pathway in what is otherwise a highly stressful situation. The stress of whether and when to act, particularly in a private radiology setting, is removed.

Following the explanations behind the clear management principles allows for understanding of various patient presentations and appropriate adaptions of treatment as required"

Radiologist, AU

"An excellent course on anaphylaxis—comprehensive, well-presented, and combining high-quality, evidence-based information with practical real-life scenarios. I greatly appreciate the instructors' consideration of the challenges and pressures involved in the early detection and management of anaphylaxis, providing valuable tools and resources applicable across all healthcare settings. Having completed the course, I feel more confident and better equipped to identify, escalate, and assist in the management of anaphylaxis effectively. I would highly recommend this course to my colleagues."

Registered Nurse, AU

"Extremely valuable course from an experienced clinician. I appreciate the thorough discussion of pathophysiology, and found the case studies to be especially interesting and informative. I didn't realise how much I didn't know, especially how anaphylaxis can be so subtle and variable. I highly recommend this to anyone who may need to manage anaphylaxis in their practice."

General Practitioner, AU

"As a CT Radiographer with 20 years experience I found this course very beneficial. It offers an in depth description as well as practical examples of anaphylaxis which has helped the way we manage our patients in a clinical setting.  As a result of this course, I have become more confident in assessing patients that have reactions in our department and assisting in patient care.

I would definitely recommend this course."
